I played Skelzies, also known as, Skellys, in the mid 70’s while I was living in the Bronx and Manhattan. We played on streets off Grand Concourse and when I lived in the upper west side of Manhattan. It was a game that everyone loved to play and it never got boring. It was good to play all year around, except, of course, when it got too cold. It was a game to be enjoyed little, by little, with your friends. Good clean fun. Those were the good old days.
